Steve Black Electrical was founded by Steve Black—better known around town as ‘Blackie’—a long-time local with more than 30 years of hands-on electrical experience. Originally trained through the Sydney County Council, Steve began his career on a wide range of job sites, gaining valuable technical skills while also exploring other career paths that built his strong people-first approach. Despite diversifying his work life, his passion for electricity never wavered.
After meeting his wife Julie, a third-generation Coffs Harbour local, it didn’t take long for Steve to make the move north and settle into the community. Today, Steve Black Electrical is proudly family-owned and operated, bringing dependable, high-quality electrical services to homes, businesses, and industrial clients across the region. With over five decades of life experience behind him, Steve leads a team that’s focused on honest advice, long-term results, and helping customers feel confident every step of the way.
